The Auto-Fix Engine
Auto-Fix is LSPRO’s built-in data quality engine. It scans your inventory for issues and automatically fixes common problems like missing publishers, inconsistent formatting, and classification errors.
What Auto-Fix Does
- Publisher lookup ΓÇö Fills in missing publisher data by matching title names to known series
- Title normalization ΓÇö Standardizes title formatting (capitalization, abbreviations, special characters)
- Category classification ΓÇö Assigns categories based on title, publisher, and content type
- Duplicate detection ΓÇö Identifies potential duplicate entries in your inventory
- Data validation ΓÇö Flags entries with missing required fields or invalid data
Running Auto-Fix
- Click Auto-Fix from the Dashboard or menu
- Select which fixes to apply (or run all)
- Review the proposed changes
- Accept or reject individual fixes
- Click Apply to commit the changes
RED Blocking
Items flagged as RED have critical issues that prevent them from being exported. Common RED flags include:
- Missing title
- Missing issue number
- Invalid pricing data
RED items must be resolved before they can be included in any export. Auto-Fix can resolve most RED flags automatically.
Auto-Fix never deletes data. It only adds missing information or corrects formatting. You can always review and undo changes.
